Classes of Coverage
Our Medical Scheme is divided into three (3) main Classes namely:
- Class A+: Providing Local and Overseas Cover (worldwide) Excluding USA and Canada
- Class B+: Providing Local Cover with Senegal Extension
- Class C+: Providing In and Outpatient for Local Treatment Only
Hospitalization Coverage
Hospitalization Cover in all three Classes is 100% with the exception of One Day Admission and Outpatient which is 85% covered.
Annual Cover Limits
- Class A+: maximum limit per person: Local GMD 60,000 Evacuation GBP 35, 000.00
- Class B+: maximum limit per person GMD 60, 000.00
- Class C+: maximum limit per person GMD 50, 000.00
Additional Benefits
- Maternity/ Gynecology cover of up to GMD 20,000.00 per annum
- Dental Cover of up to GMD 7,000.00 per annum
- Optical Cover of up to GMD 5,000.00 per annum
- Government Hospital Daily Cash Allowance - there will be a daily cash allowance for each full hospitalization into Government Hospital in the Gambia of up to GMD 100.00 for a period not exceeding 14 days.
Coverage Options
The scheme provides cover for Staff Only or Staff with their Named Dependents.
Age of Eligibility
- Staff: up to 65
- Adult Dependents: 18 to 65
- Child Dependents: Under 18
